What is DataIO?
DataIO is a data management application.
Who is it for?
If you use data, it's for you.
It is often the case that IT staff are required to assist with data manipulation
for reasons of security, access or expertise. Particularly if the data sets are
large. With DataIO we hope to change that. DataIO enables you to look at a small
sub-set of data, decide how you'd like the data to be changed, test changes and
extract data with applied changes without affecting source data.
How is it used?
It combines easy access to multiple formats and offers sophisticated data
transformation facilities. DataIO also remembers rules that have been applied so
that work can be continued whenever required. It also provides facilities to
share work so that several people can be involved where larger tranches of work
are necessary.
How does it compare to other data manipulation tools?
Recently, an existing DataIO client completed an eleven product comparison that
included applications more costly and much more complex than DataIO. These
included products such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). DataIO
achieved third place. Products in first and second place were in-ordinately more
costly than DataIO.
